Network Services
Network services are those services or applications available to a
client on a network. On a local area network, this typically includes shared
files and data, shared printers, and file transfer. Network services also
include applications that can be accessed by clients, such as word processors,
spreadsheet and database applications, as well as modem and e-mail
programs.
